German Research Foundation (DFG) Approves Collaborative Research Centre
Aptiv is one of the largest automotive suppliers and a global technology leader, with more than 180,000 people worldwide. We address mobility’s toughest challenges and deliver market-relevant solutions for our customers, e.g. radar sensors.
Radar sensors are capable of detecting and classifying objects of interest and obstacles in adverse environmental conditions. Together with other complementary sensors form the backbone of autonomous driving (AD) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Therefore market penetration will increase in the coming years. This means that it is necessary to develop interference mitigation strategies that ensure the coexistence of radar systems in any scenario.
We are looking for talented engineers to come up with innovative ideas and contribute to the development of cooperative interference mitigation strategies.
The development of innovative automotive radar array systems along with the understanding in millimeter-wave propagation plays a significant role in the development of future automotive radar systems. Therefore, we are searching for talented students who bring in new ideas for prototyping and testing of the new radar- and antenna systems in the European Advanced Radar Team starting from April or Mai 1st 2025.
Have you (almost) finished your Master's degree or are you a talented engineer working in RF- and signal processing domain and want to pursue a PhD? Do you want to bridge the gap between academics and industry and apply your scientific expertise to real challenges in the area of automated and autonomous driving?
